Schaeffler Transmission LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of vehicle drivetrain components, plans to create 650 full-time positions in Dover and Wooster. This expansion not only signifies job growth but also reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for electric vehicles, positioning Ohio as a hub for advanced automotive technologies.
Meanwhile, in Cuyahoga County, Strongsville is poised to witness a surge in employment opportunities with companies like Ark Transportation Ltd., Delivered Inc., and Veroot LLC consolidating operations and creating 103 full-time positions. These ventures, specializing in logistics, distribution, and software management, underscore the diverse range of industries driving economic expansion in the region.
In Cleveland, the James B. Oswald Company’s expansion into the city is expected to create 88 full-time positions, further bolstering the region’s insurance and employee benefit services sector. This move not only reflects the company’s growth trajectory but also highlights Cleveland’s appeal as a strategic business destination.
Additionally, Mahoning County stands to benefit from TTM Technologies North America LLC’s expansion plans, which aim to create 50 full-time positions in North Jackson Township. As a leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, TTM Technologies’ investment reinforces Ohio’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and innovation.
Beyond Northeast Ohio, job creation initiatives are underway in other parts of the state, with companies like Cintas Corporate Service Inc., Holmes Siding Contractors LTD, Quality Logistics LLC, and DPC Fabrication LLC expanding operations and generating employment opportunities. These ventures span diverse sectors, including corporate services, construction, logistics, and fabrication, underscoring Ohio’s economic diversity and resilience.
Collectively, these projects are expected to create 1,171 new jobs, generating over $101 million in new payroll and spurring investments worth $269 million. Moreover, the retention of 3,635 existing jobs underscores the ripple effects of economic growth, ensuring stability and continuity in local communities.
